The team at Mike’s Painting & Sandblasting had the great honor of being a part of the restoration of a Bell Cobra Helicopter 327, now residing at the Martin County Veterans Memorial Park in Fairmont. The dedication ceremony held this past weekend was the culmination of thousands of hours of hard work by many. This helicopter served in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos from 1968 to 1971. After its combat work, it served a Wildfire Rescue Department in California.
This was a massive project that required a skilled team, a lot of cooperation with City, State, and Federal agencies, and a little bit of good luck to make happen. We are humbled & proud to be a part of this amazing project
